How does Anxiety affect us?

Anxiety, which refers to the apprehension of a possible future danger, is a common feeling that not only students, but all of us experience in every aspect of our life. Regardless, how does it affect students? Ever since the pandemic started, a lot of journal articles and research papers were published addressing how anxiety of students had increased because of the transition from face to face setup into an online regime. They face anxiety in terms of unstable internet connection, gadgets for classes, taking online tests, and the fear of not obtaining academic achievements from this new set up. Yet, they are unable to express themselves because of the stigma of mental health. There are a lot of coping strategies for students to aid their test anxiety or stress in academics and these are keeping a normal routine, eating healthy foods, and even just taking a break. In keeping a normal routine, it is essential for a student to be organized in their everyday schedule so that they can anticipate what to accomplish and to avoid procrastination. Moreover, being healthy in picking food choices could also boost your mood and be able to achieve tasks on time. Lastly, it is important for students to also remember when to take breaks. You should also remember to take time for yourself and learn how to stop when you feel the burnout from academics.
